Still drives ok but no power from turbo what so ever!
Did you regain turbo function after restarting the engine? Sounds like it’s probably just a limp mode situation. Next time it happens (assuming you have boost next time you start the car) try pulling off the road and turning the key on and off, if you have boost once you restart the car, you’re in luck.
It’s probably NOT the turbo, in stock form these turbos aren’t generally working very hard, but assuming you still have a functioning EGR valve, the turbo could just be gummed up with soot.
Could also be a simple vacuum leak, non-functioning N75 valve, or your VNT actuator could just be out of adjustment.
