Which Golf Club set is better?
I want to get a new set of golf clubs and I don’t know which ones to get
I am a beginner so I am not getting anything fancy
I am aware that one set comes wth a bag but I don’t care
I just want to know which are better performance wise
I also need them to last 4 years or more

Since you are a beginner, any new set of clubs designed for a novice will be fine. You’ll spend a year or two learning the correct swing for each club (actually if you’re like me you’ll spend many years learning this…)
Modern woods, irons, and hybrids are all manufactured well and will be suitable for your first few years. Make sure the clubs you choose are designed for novice players…they are more forgiving and will produce straighter shots.
If and when you find yourself wanting a bit more of an edge (ie. you hit your drives straight every time and would like more distance, or your iron shots are dialed in to the point that you might like a club that you can use to more easily induce a fade or draw)…at this point you may want to invest in clubs that suit your playing style…
Golf clubs have come a long way in the last 30 years, but low scores are more the result of good golfing, not good clubs. Bobby Jones, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, and many others played much better than most amateur golfers do today, and they played with clubs that would be considered crap by today’s standards. How did they play so well with crappy clubs? It’s because they were good golfers.
My advice is, find an inexpensive set you like and spend the money you save playing golf.
