when you ask a question about how to become more mature on the internet why do people say stuff like “Be sure to visit your relatives often. If you can’t, then keep in touch with them. Remember that you probably knew your friends before your girl came into the picture” i know its probably true but isn’t the partener important too???

To be honest, i have read another question u put earlier about being independant. Working and earning your own money to support yourself and your b/f is very independant, and this question here about becoming more matture— It sounds to me that u appear very insecure.

You Dad is no longer in the picture and you are looking to your b/f as a father figure, but you should be concerntrating more on self-confidence. You have done it all yourself, if thats not being grown up then i dont know what is. You are trying to please too many people and not thinking about yourself.

Give yourself a pat on the back for not relying on your parents, and now u have your own responsibilties with running a home so don’t worry about everybody else, im sure you can fit time in for all concerned but just dont forget about what u want
