Tim Weinhart: Happy to be here, anything I can do to help.

Joe Gandolfo: Very good, very good. So the Minding Your Golf Game Mental Strength Training Program where it’s all about strengthening the golfer’s mental skill and abilities.

Tim and I have been working on breathing and we’ve been working on the philosophy of Minding Your — also walking smartly, what is he doing in between shots.

Tim Weinhart: Right.

Joe Gandolfo: So Tim, just share briefly and quickly with the viewers a little bit about the program and how you feel like it’s been working for you.

Tim Weinhart: Well, the biggest impact was learning how to learn and how to breathe properly and focusing on the one shot at a time and going back to my breath and becoming more and more present.

And that was a little spill of a struggle in the beginning. But as Joe ad I’ve talked, it has gotten easier and easier and itâ€™s so much — and play golf one shot at a time since I started talking with Joe versus– beforehand, it was a little bit sometimes a little bit more roller coaster.

Joe Gandolfo: Alright, keeping the game just simple. I mean the game is simple. It’s one ball, one shot at a time and just keeping the simplicity and enjoying the game.

Tim Weinhart: Yeah, to me a stick in a ball.

Mental part of the golf game….? Serious Question!!!!?

OK here is my problem, most of the time when i am playing competitive golf and regular fun golf, i get on the tee box and millions of thoughts race into my head about where i should hit and how i should hit. But if their are trees, water, or out of bounds all my thoughts focus on hitting it in their right away. When i set up for my shot i am still focusing on the water or etc, but i try to focus on hitting it straight down the fairway. When i swing back i am still thinking about the water, or etc. and when i hit it, i am still thinking of the hazard, and goes right into the water, and i am not even aiming at the water or etc. But for some reason i pull hook, hook, push, slice, top and duff into the hazard almost every time. What is wrong with me? What is going on? Is it fixable? Is it some kin of mental disorder?

I think another problem is you don’t have enough trust in your club selection, so it’s also a bit of a confidence issue. No, it’s not a mental disorder if you can’t hit a golf ball. That would make 99% of the population have mental disorders.
