What is required to correct course?

I am a young professional and a golf outing sponsored by the company in a Masters course in Texas. The course is supposed to be pleasant enough, but I have not heard of a dress code. Can I wear more casual without look bad (linen shorts vs short … teeshirt shirt collar ring vs solid )…? In addition, I (and pay) golf shoes. Should I wear shoes sandals or tennis style Steve Madden? The course is Bear Creek Golf World, and I live in the woods. It is a property Arnold Palmer Course, but was unable to find a line of dress code officer.
