Golf grip removal?

I have just bought a new set of golf clubs, but I need to fit jumbo grips so have to remove the new grips. Is there a way of removing the grips from the new irons without damaging them as they are really good quality grips that will be useful to someone else as they are brand new

Oh it’s not as hard as eveyone is making it sound – but practice makes it easier. There is a heavy duty syringe made for this purpose(available through Maltby Golfworks), but you can use a regular one if you have a diabetic friend who injects a lot of insulin and has some needles left over. You just inject lighter fluid or grip solvent into the grip. Push the needle down until you feel it hit the steel shaft, start about an inch above the bottom of the grip and make several injections working your way up. If you are lucky one of the injections will sort of break the seal, whoosh all the fluid will squirt out the bottom of the grip and it will slide off easily. I have never heard of trying to use air pressure and learned the art of grip installation and removal about fourty years ago.
