In case you are not in the know, a rule change has been brought in which means that the grooves in golf wedges now need to be considerably smaller and shallower. The USGA makes it clear that there are good and valid reasons for this rule change. However, it will mean a change for golfers. Even though amateur players will be obligated to change to playing with a wedge that complies with the new rules until 2024 (except in tournaments governed by a Condition of Competition), after 31st December 2010 it will be very hard to get your hands on a golf wedge manufactured according to the old rules. Does Adams Golf still make the Tom Watson PVD 3-wedge set?

It seems every online retailer I look at is sold out of this item, and I’m hard pressed to find one in a brick-and-mortar retailer. I read somewhere that this set was the 2008 series, so I am wondering if this is true, and if so, have they discontinued it. Thanks in advance!
