USGA compliant wedges by Interloper Golf

Interloper Golf announces the Acer XB wedges in 8 different lofts of 50°, 52°, 54°, 56°, 58°, 60°, 64°, 68°.

The USGA compliant Acer XB wedges present a classic teardrop shape, tapered hosel, very minimal offset, thin top line and narrow sole.

The four-way cambered sole and moderate bounce angles allow for maximum playability from a variety of situations you may encounter on the course. The versatility of the D-grind sole allows for the face to be opened when needed and is good from any lie to produce creative face angle positions for shots like “bump and run” and “the flop” around the green.

Perhaps the greatest attribute is that no other set of wedges are as complete and versatile as the Acer XB wedges. What wedges to get for my golf bag.?

I can only get two. I am thinking 52 and 58 degree vokeys. I have 2-pw and can order the matching gap wedge, would 58 be awkward or should i get a 56.

Being a PGA Professional I am faced with questions like this everyday. The one thing I will say without any question is take your time with this decision! What I do with my students is find the average distance they hit each club and write it down. Then see what distance they need to fill in. In a perfect world we would have 10 to 12 yards between clubs. In my personal set I do play a 52 and then jump to a 58. Can you hit some demo clubs? If so I would try both out and see what club is hitting the ball the distance I need it to travel

To get the correct answer will take work on your part because we all hit clubs different distances, you need to find what distance is missing in your game and buy the club that will fill that void.
