What golf tee height do most PGA golfers use?
Yes, it does depend on the club.
When using a driver, most professionals will tee the ball to where the equator of the ball is just below the top of the club face.
When using an iron, professionals that i’ve watched will tee the ball to where it is just barely off of the ground.
Both of these allow for maximum backspin control. As a whole, i would say the non-professional golfing community tees the ball higher than pros because it is more forgiving alternative to teeing the ball so low. It also helps with distance for players with slower swing speeds.
