Is Laser Surgery Allowed In Golf and why isn’t cheating if you have better eyesight than normal people
Yes it is, even Tiger Woods has had the surgery. It is no different than any other surgery really and the surgery seldom provides “extra powerful” vision to anyone. The biggest reason most do is to avoid wearing regular glasses and like the other example given, the surgery obviously provided little help to Daly or Woods.
If laser surgery was cheating because you are improving a physical condition for golf, then I would suggest that golfers would not be allowed to lift weights or run either.
