What are the details of 2 golf drivers?

What are the 1)overall weight,2)swing weight, 3)torque of shaft 4) Weight of Shaft of A)Taylormade R11 10.5 RH motoroe 55 Jap Spec and B) Titleist D2 with the same shaft?

D2- approximately 200g (some 200, some 201, you get the idea… not even Titliest is perfect. It’s called “manufacturing tolerances”); a 55 Motore is just that, 55g (again, give or take, depending on tolerances). What grip are we using? If it’s a Winn Lite, that’s 25g; a Golf Pride Tour Velvet is 50g, give or take.

So, we have a weight range (of two examples) between 280g and 306g. An r11 head weighs roughly 198g… again, give or take, so subtract 2 grams from the above.

The torque will be 3.4* for “X”, 3.5* for “S”. It has nothing to do with the head, and most likely, will actually be higher than that (just like with flex, no two companies have the same testing standards). Besides, torque isn’t as big an issue as people make it out to be.

It takes 2g in the head to make 1 swing weight point change. However, unless you’re Tiger Woods (who can feel a weight difference in golf balls equivalent to five feathers*) or Nick Faldo (who can feel 2 cycles-per-minute difference in flex, and half a swing weight point’), you wouldn’t be able to tell the swingweight difference between the two heads… assuming the same shaft and grip are used. For the average golfer, it takes 3 swing weight points (6g in the head) to make a noticable difference.
