Golf chipping clubs…..?
Has anyone used one of the putter-style angle faced chippers? If so, are they any good and is there a brand/model that you would recommend?
Have you ever even heard of a tour player using a chipping club? Have you ever seen one made by Nike, Top Flight, or Calloway? If the answer is no, then it is probably more of a gimick and gadget than not. The chipping club is a neat way to get bad golfers to spend more money on things they don’t need. And it is so limited. It only has one loft, so regardless if you need more carry and less roll, or less carry and more roll, you only have one option. I recommend going to a putting green and practicing your chipping with a 6, 7, 8, and 9 iron. Eventully you will develop a solid touch with these clubs which will allow you to put the ball close to the pin when you are off of the green.
