Should I buy a Ford Fiesta or VW Golf TDI?
I am pretty close to getting a Golf TDI for the following reasons: I want to get a:
1. Sedan
2. peppy car
3. great handling
4. good looking
5. Great on gas
Well, then I read about the upcoming Fiesta. And I realize that the Golf is a superior car, however the price of the Fiesta makes it tempting. I’ve read rave reviews about how it handles, has a peppy engine, fun to drive, and has GREAT gas miliage (30/40). Impressive. All for about 18k all decked out.
The only sedan golf in a manual transmission (the only kind I would drive) is the TDI. But we’re looking at about 24-25k. Huge difference for what you get.
I know the Fiesta is usually compared to the Polo, but it seems the Polo, for the price, is inferior to the Fiesta.
So, you want a sedan, yet the two cars you pick are hatchbacks.
Why don’t you just wait until the Fiesta is released so you can look at both. It is quite small compared to the Golf, so it all depends on what you will be using the car for. Will you be taking passengers a lot? If so, the Fiesta might not be the greatest option.
