is an electric golf cart charger supposed to make a loud noise?

just bought an electric golf cart and it came with a charger. we plugged the charger into the cart and it’s making a loud buzzing sound. is this what my neighbors have to deal with every night?

Sounds like the laminations on the transformer are loose. This does not affect the operation of the charger but can create an irritating buzz. Contact the vendor first then the manufacturer to resolve the problem.
