Disc Golf Goal

Which disc golf set should I buy?

My dad has gotten into disc golf. He has two discs now, but the closest course is about 30-45 minutes away from him. I’d like to get him a set/goal that he could put up in his backyard. I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with either of these and which one might be better. Here are the two I am considering:

I’d consider other alternatives, but these are in the price range I’d like to spend.

the sport craft disc set ( http://www.amazon.com/sportcraft-disc-go… ) would be the better of the 2 choices because you could actually use full size golf discs and it might be a bit of a challenge, the down side to it is the discs that come with the set look like junk. as for the second set it is made for mini discs (or disc markers) which wouldn’t be very good practice because mini discs are tiny and don’t fly very well, so i would deffinatly say no to that one. your best bet though would be to find an actual basket (like the ones you would find at a course) but the problem with that is they tend to get a little pricey. here are a couple of links for to ebay items that would be very nice but are a little higher in price but keep in mind these are also in the lower price range, you could be spending upwards of $400 for a really nice one
