Golf cart batteries can change votl April 12 June 8 volts?

I have a 2006 club car 48 volt car with four batteries of 12 V and I on having to get new batteries as original and not holding a charge long enough. ¿I can go to 8 6V batteries in this car and this allows for more long time hunting for a car to cover a wider area? Tips and tricks are appreceated. Thank you,

You can connect eight 6V batteries in series to a single 48v battery. However, all batteries must be the same size and capacity, and can overheat and destroy the battery of smaller capacity. All VV 12 6 cells are actually a lot of battery V 2 connected in series. You would do the same with eight 6V batteries. The most important question is the space required to build eight batteries. Also the amp-hour capacity 6V battery must be the same or greater than 12V battery or if you do get a strength / area. More batteries not necessarily mean more resistance.
